“In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah: We have a strong city; He sets up salvation as walls and bulwarks. Open the gates, that the righteous nation that keeps faith may enter in. You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.” –Isaiah 26:1-4

TRANSCRIPTION:

Good morning, good morning, good morning. Grace and peace be unto all of you, my Father’s children.

Here we are on this wonderful Wednesday morning. This is the day that the Lord has made, and we will rejoice and be glad in it.

As we continue our focus on peace of mind, I want us to look at the prophet Isaiah, chapter 26, beginning at verse 1:

“In that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah: We have a strong city; He sets up salvation as walls and bulwarks. Open the gates, that the righteous nation that keeps faith may enter in. You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.”

Isaiah is offering encouragement to the children of Israel during a time when peace is not something they can easily see around them. There is turmoil at their borders and uncertainty in their circumstances. Yet Isaiah points them toward a powerful contrast between external circumstances and internal stability.

He reminds them that it is God who keeps us in perfect peace.

I love that word—perfect. The peace of God is not moved or influenced by outside circumstances. It is an inner strength, a stabilizing force that sustains us even in times of trouble.

And if that isn’t a word for today, I don’t know what is.

God is calling us to maintain inner stability even when there is chaos around us. Over the past few months, many of us have faced circumstances that have threatened our peace. But when we are anchored in God, we gain a different perspective on life.

Being anchored in Him allows us to weather storms with a centered spirit. Even when circumstances are chaotic, there is a calmness within us because our trust is in God.

So today, on this Wednesday morning, I encourage you to walk with that inner peace. Walk with a sense of centeredness that shapes how you move through the day and how you respond to life’s challenges.

It reminds me of the songwriter who speaks of having a firm foundation. That foundation gives us balance. Life will always have its ups and downs, its storms and rocky waters. But as Christians, we rely on the One who keeps us steady.

Storms may be part of life, but they do not have to dictate how we navigate life.

So whatever this day brings, I pray that you move through it with peace in your thoughts, focus in your actions, and confidence in God’s victory.

I love each and every one of you.

Have an incredible Wednesday. Let God be your guide, and let peace be your posture.

Be blessed. God bless you. Good morning.
