Today’s Scripture:



Pastoral Insight:

Isaiah prophesies to Judah in their period of Babylonian exile. After allowing them to be punished through exile he reassures them of restoration by way of reaffirming their identity. With their identity restored he reminds them of the strength and resilience they will have through him.



Personal Reflection:

  •  How do we handle spaces and challenges that question our identity?

  • What is God saying to us when we see fire metaphorically on our horizon?

  • What assurances has God promised you that drive your will to carry on?
