Pastoral Insight:

Paul’s prayer for the church in Ephesus is speaking to the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. That the Holy Spirit would not only govern your actions but also inform your comprehension of God’s love. That without it you can’t conceive the vastness to which the Love of God extends.

  • What does being empowered by God’s spirit look like to you?

  • How does understanding God’s love govern how you view your neighbor?

  • Can you effectively share the Gospel without the Holy Spirit taking permanent residence in your life?
