Today’s Scripture:

Pastoral Insight:

Paul writes to the church in Colossae with a sense of urgency. He gives a clarion call for them to treat one another with a sense of value. Paul understood that the strength of their witness as well as their ability to endure hinged on the connected sense of responsibility they had to one another. The relationships they cultivated would shape their ability to carry out the great commission.

Personal Reflection:

  • Why are the relationships we have with one another important in our walk with the Lord?

  • Why is the challenge to love another emphasized as it relates to the church?

  • What about this virtue is indicative of how the world views the body of Christ?
