Children's Day: Celebrating the Faith, Gifts, and Future of Our Children

At Community Baptist Church of Somerset, we believe our children are not only the future of the Church—they are an important part of the Church today.

On Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM, we invite our church family, friends, and community to join us for our annual Children’s Day Worship Service, a special celebration highlighting the faith, talents, and leadership of our young people.

Throughout the service, our children will take center stage as they lead us in worship, share their gifts, and remind us of the joy, hope, and promise found in the next generation. It is a day designed to encourage, uplift, and affirm the young people God has entrusted to our care.

As Scripture reminds us:

“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”— 1 Timothy 4:12

We are also honored to welcome Rev. Justin Henderson as our guest speaker. His message will encourage both children and adults as we reflect on the importance of nurturing faith and empowering young people to walk boldly in God's purpose.

Children’s Day is more than a special service—it is a celebration of the voices, faith, and future of our youth. It is an opportunity for the entire congregation to come together and show our support as they lead us in worship and service.
