CBC Connect Community Guidelines

CBC Connect is a space for our church family to connect, communicate and build community. To keep it welcoming, useful and safe, please follow these guidelines:

In Groups

• Stay on topic. Keep posts relevant to the purpose of the group.

• Don't flood the group. Avoid repeated posts, forwards, chain messages or excessive posting.

• Be respectful. No arguments, personal attacks, gossip, inappropriate content or divisive behavior.

• No unsolicited promotion. Please don't advertise businesses, products, services, fundraisers or outside events without approval.

• Respect privacy. Don't share someone else's personal information, photos or circumstances without permission.

One-on-One Messaging

• Respect people's boundaries. A CBC Connect profile is not an invitation for unlimited personal contact.

• Don't repeatedly message someone who isn't responding or has asked you to stop.

• Don't use CBC Connect to pursue unwanted personal, romantic, business or financial contact.

• Never use CBC Connect to harass, intimidate, monitor or follow another member.

• Adults should not initiate private one-on-one messaging with minors outside of approved CBC ministry communication.

Keeping Our Community Safe

If you receive inappropriate or unwanted communication, please block the individual and notify a CBC Connect administrator.

FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES MAY RESULT IN BEING BLOCKED FROM THE CBC CONNECT COMMUNITY.

CBC Connect is an extension of our church community. Let's use it to encourage, inform, connect and build one another up.
