Community Garden Guidelines

Follow the volunteer plant care schedule. If changes need to be made, please alert Christina Dickerson or Jazzme Blackwell as soon as possible so that we can adjust as necessary.

Harvest any ripe produce promptly to avoid waste and pests.

All harvested produce shall be rinsed of visible dirt and brought over to the FoodBank (224 Churchill Ave, Somerset, NJ 08873) on the day of harvest by a designated volunteer.

All harvested produce shall be weighed and recorded.

Children aged 13 and under shall be accompanied by their parent/guardian. High school aged children shall be accompanied by an adult.

All volunteers must sign a waiver. Parents/guardians must sign off on waivers for their dependents.

Garden plots are currently restricted for use by Community Baptist Church and the Franklin Township Food Bank. No additional plants are permitted at this time.

Be mindful that you are representing the church. Please act accordingly.
